چکیده

Sustainability is getting popular for many engineering applications from packaging to textiles, energy electronics. Since renewable, environmental friendly sources lowers the negative impacts of end product on ecology, sustainability studies generally start with raw materials. The electronic materials has gained importance because limited amount resources and increasing costs as well restrictions. In this study, pistachio shell waste was used synthesize conductive fillers fabrication sustainable flexible Pistachio carbonized. After carbonization, two different grounding settings were obtain filler sizes. order compare effects size electrical morphological properties composites, six samples prepared based concentration styrene-[ethylene-(ethylene-propylene)]-styrene block copolymer. Homogeneous distribution good filler-matrix interface observed both composite sets. Filler found significant in terms conductivity composites. For larger fillers, percolation region shift lower compared smaller size.

Biocompatibility and characterization of polylactic acid/styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene composites.

Polylactic acid (PLA)/styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene (SEBS) composites were prepared by melt blending. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WXRD) were used to characterize PLA and PLA/SEBS composites in terms of their melting behavior and crystallization. Curves from thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) illustrated that thermostability increased with SEBS c...

Mechanical, Electrical and Electro-Mechanical Properties of Thermoplastic Elastomer Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene/Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes Composites

Composites of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) block copolymer with multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) were processed by solution casting in order to investigate the influence of filler content, the different ratio of styrene/butadiene in the copolymer and the architecture of the SBS matrix on the electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical properties of the composites. It was found that fille...

Sulfonated Styrene-(ethylene-co-butylene)-styrene/Montmorillonite Clay Nanocomposites: Synthesis, Morphology, and Properties

Sulfonated styrene-(ethylene-butylene)-styrene triblock copolymer (SSEBS) was synthesized by reaction of acetyl sulfate with SEBS. SSESB-clay nanocomposites were then prepared from hydrophilic Na-montmorillonite (MT) and organically (quaternary amine) modified hydrophobic nanoclay (OMT) at very low loading. SEBS did not show improvement in properties with MT-based nanocomposites. On sulfonation...

Electro - mechanical properties of triblock copolymer styrene - butadiene - styrene / carbon nanotube composites for large deformation sensor applications

Thermoplastic elastomer/carbon nanotube composites are studied for sensor applications due to their excellent mechanical and electrical properties. Piezoresisitive properties of tri-block copolymer styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS)/ carbon nanotubes (CNT) prepared by solution casting have been investigated. Young modulus of the SBS/CNT composites increases with the amount of CNT filler content pr...
